Since we got back from Vegas life has been crazy! I started my final semester at Ferris and could not be more excited about it! Classes are going to be a lot of work but my schedule is amazing and I love the people in my classes. Spending about 4 hours a day with some of my best friends is definitely a good thing!
Ryan and I have decided to do this dieting thing together. We are doing a Biggest Loser competition between the two of us. We weighed in last Sunday and whoever loses the greatest percentage of weight before the wedding wins a new car. We both decided that we wanted to get healthy and we could not do it without each other. So not only am I excited about losing all the weight before the wedding. I am also excited about beating Ryan. We are so competitive its redicilous so the situation works out perfectly.
Ryan and I are busting our butts trying to get things done for the wedding. Our biggest goal was to get going on the HUGE guest list and try to organize addresses in a database. WHAT A JOB! I have probably spent atleast 3 hours inserting names and addresses! We are working on getting the list down. Right now our list is at 800. Now I know not everyone will show up but that is way too many people. Our goal is to get it down to about 600 people. We are not even sure that is realistic but we can cut some of the list. We always knew the wedding would be huge but we are trying to keep it down so we don't go over our budget.
Sunday and Monday Mom, Sara, Jen, Kristin and I went dress shopping. I really wanted to find my dress and the bridesmaid dresses and on Monday we succeeded. Sunday we went to David's Bridal. I have heard people having good experiences there but I went twice and they were awful. I never ever would order my dress there. The service was horrible. I made my appointment two months ago and I had requested a certain girl and also the girls were suppose to try on bridesmaid dresses. I got there I did not have the girl I requested and I had to share the girl with another Bride. We were there for over 2 hours and I tried on 4 dresses. Half the time Kristin was putting them on me and taking them off for me. Sara and Kristin had to go get the dresses off the rack and then share my dressing room. It was awful. Monday Jen, Sara, Kristin and I headed to Sempliner's to try on dresses. They were so nice to me! We had found a couple of wedding dresses that I liked a lot but they were not the dress and we had also found 3 bridesmaid dresses that the girls like a lot. We then headed to Unique Bridal in Auburn. I picked out a few dresses that were just like all the others that I tried on and Sara picked out a much simpler one for me. I tried on the fancy ones and they were pretty but not me and then I tried on the one that Sara had picked out for me and its PERFECT! I love the fact that it has color in the dress. *If anyone wants to see a picture just let me know and I will send you the link. Ryan checks my blog a lot and I don't want him to see it!
Also we found the bridesmaid dresses I think. I want everyones opinion so please let me know what you think! Jen and Sara's dresses will be the light blue with a navy blue sash and the other bridesmaids will be navy with a light blue sash.
I think this is all the wedding information and life information that is going on right now! I will update with more soon!
