MUSIC!

We were supposed to meet with Deacon Frank on Saturday but he missed placed his palm pilot so he forgot about our appointment so we got out of a month of Pre-Marriage Counseling!!! This is nice because it was gorgeous out and we got in a quick nine holes!

Last time Deacon Frank asked us to pick out our music for the ceremony so we did that last Friday night because we procrastinated! We have all the music picked out for the ceremony but does anyone have any suggestions for before the ceremony starts. We asked a good family friend to sing at the wedding but we just don't know what we want her to sing! We REALLY REALLY need help! PLEASE HELP US!!

This is what we have so far! I included youtube clips because the songs will actually be played on a pipe organ except for the unity candle song. The pipe organ gives the songs a little different ring.

Reception Lights!

This is how I want to do the lights for the reception room. Ryan thinks we can do it but when we go and get the layout of the building we are going to have to look into it some more. I think it would add to the room. I am really not in love with the way the hall looks so I am trying to find any way possible to make it better!! Do you think it would be worth the man power?

Unity Candle

Here is what our unity candle will look like and we are having a wreath of hydrangeas around it with two crystal candlestick holders for our set. Pretty?!

Michael's Coupons!

We need a favor! We are purchasing the tall vases for our centerpieces from Michael's and it would be great if everyone could send us their coupon's that come in the paper if you are not using them! RSVP's

So I need everyone's opinions on RSVPs. We are trying to decide if they are worth it. With inviting 750 people we are trying to figure out if we would actually need them. Even our caterer said that because we are having a buffet style meal that she usually doesn't even go by RSVP's she goes on a percentage of the people invited and that is how many she cooks for regardless of the RSVP's the bride gives her. She said that too many people say they are coming and don't actually come and too many people just don't send them back. We are going to be sending out around 325 invitations with stamps we could save around $150 plus the hassel of sending them out and making sure they are returned.

Does it look tacky to not have RSVP cards because I don't want that but if the caterer is going to go by a percentage anyways is there another use for them. Opinions please?!?

We were actually thinking of doing cards like these instead since they come with the invitation kits and this card is actually what our invitation kits look like. Do you like?!

Wedding Updates!

Ry Guy and I have not done alot of wedding stuff lately just a few things here and there but we are only 5 months away!! It will be here before you know it!!

First Week @ Spectrum!

My internship is amazing in everyway! I love this organization, I have been reading through a lot of charts this week and the amounts of people they see everyday and the miracles they perform just blows me away! Poor Ryan has to listen to how much I love this place and all of its statistics! I think he is getting used to it well atleast I hope he is getting use to it!

I am interning in the Health Information Management Department for the first 9 weeks and they have it set up so I am at three different campuses. So I am at Butterworth, Blodgett and the Main Service Center. Their main goal is make sure I see every aspect of the department and for me to learn. I have been doing very hands on things everyday and I have only had to make copies once and I haven't had to fetch coffee so I have to say I am doing way better than I had expected!!!

Hopefully I stay this excited to go to work everyday!!

5 days...

It's official! I have finally realized that graduation is only five days away. I was driving down State Street on Friday and I just started crying. It hit me like a ton of bricks. I am completely ready to start working and I am so excited for my internship but I am not ready for this chapter of my life to be over. I can't remember the number of times that I have said I cannot wait for college to be over but now thats it almost done I just want time to stop. I am going to miss sitting in classes with some of my best friends everyday. After Friday we will all be scattered. I have spent three amazing years here at Ferris and it soon will be just a memory.
